Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile’s Aayushi Khurrana on Reet’s Recent Emotional Track: “It Was the Most Challenging and Memorable Experience of my career”

Zee TV’s popular fiction show Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile, starring Bharat Ahlawwat (Raghav) and Aayushi Khurrana (Reet), has consistently kept viewers invested with its gripping storyline and emotionally charged drama. Over the time, the show has delivered several impactful tracks that have challenged its actors emotionally, be it Sehaj Rrajput’s (Unnati) domestic violence storyline or Bharat Ahlawwat’s (Raghav) Jail sequence. These powerful moments have not only tested the performers but have also resonated deeply with audiences, becoming some of the most memorable scenes from the show. In the upcoming episodes, viewers will witness another heart-wrenching chapter as Reet delivers her baby, only to be faced with the devastating loss of her newborn. Unable to cope with the tragedy, Reet is seen breaking down emotionally while visiting her baby’s grave. Aayushi Khurrana, shares that although portraying a mother’s grief on screen was emotionally challenging, the constant support of her co-actors and the entire crew helped her bring these intense moments to life with honesty and conviction.

Speaking about portraying these emotionally intense scenes, Aayushi Khurrana shares, “Reet’s journey in the recent episodes has been one of the most emotionally challenging experiences of my career. While I am not a mother in real life, stepping into the shoes of a woman who loses her newborn child was heartbreaking even to imagine. Especially, when Reet has a breakdown at her baby’s graveyard that’s when I had to completely surrender to the character’s pain, and it left me deeply emotional. As actors, we often draw from our emotions to make a scene feel real, but portraying the grief of losing a child is something that stays with you long after the camera stops rolling. Some scenes genuinely left me speechless. I’m grateful to my co-actors, director, and the entire team for creating such a supportive environment and giving me the space to perform these difficult moments with honesty and sensitivity.”

Now that Reet and Raghav are faced with the unimaginable pain of losing their child, viewers are eager to see how this tragedy will impact their relationship. While the couple has always found a way back to each other despite every challenge life has thrown at them, this loss is unlike anything they have faced before. Will Reet and Raghav be able to navigate this emotional turmoil together and emerge stronger as a couple, or will the grief drive them apart? The upcoming episodes promise an emotional and compelling journey ahead.
