Zee TV’s Jagadhatri recently saw a new entry in the show as actress Mishmee Das entered the show as SSP Jahnvee Ganguly, bringing a fresh wave of twists and turns for Jagadhatri (Sonakshi Batra) and Shivaay (Farman Haider). Right after the wedding drama, Jahnvee’s entry has added a new layer of tension to the ongoing storyline. Interestingly, Jahnvee is not a completely new face in Jagadhatri and Shivaay’s life. She has been their batchmate and has now entered their team as their senior, immediately taking charge and putting Jagadhatri aside.
As the story progresses, it has become evident that Jahnvee has a soft corner for Shivaay, while her equation with Jagadhatri has been far from cordial. Her growing closeness with Shivaay has also started making Jagadhatri jealous, hinting at the arrival of a third person in Shivaay and Jagadhatri’s equation. Meanwhile, Jahnvee has also questioned Jagadhatri’s decision to kill Moosa instead of arresting him. She believes that Jagadhatri may have had a personal motive behind the decision and is now determined to understand the real reason behind her actions.
With these equations coming into play, viewers have been witnessing some high-voltage tashan and intense one-on-one scenes between Jagadhatri and Jahnvee. Their contrasting personalities and growing differences have added plenty of drama to the narrative. Now, Sonakshi Batra, who essays the role of Jagadhatri, has opened up about the upcoming twists, her experience of performing these intense scenes with Mishmee Das, and how Jahnvee’s presence is affecting the equation between Shivaay and Jagadhatri.
The actress said, “Jagadhatri and Jahnvee’s face-off is going to bring a lot of intensity, tension and unexpected twists to the story. Both of them are strong, confident women who are not willing to back down, so their one-on-one scenes have a very interesting energy to them. I have really enjoyed performing these scenes with Mishmee Das because there is so much passion and emotion in their equation, and she is a wonderful co-actor to share that intensity with. At the same time, Jagadhatri is slowly beginning to realise her feelings for Shivaay, and seeing Jahnvee’s growing closeness with him is making her jealous, which is a completely new emotion for her. I think Jahnvee’s entry will open up many doors for Shivaay and Jagadhatri and make them confront feelings that they may have been avoiding. There is a lot that is going to unfold through this storyline, and I’m really enjoying exploring this new side of Jagadhatri. I’m sure the audience will have a lot to look forward to as this equation gets more complicated.”
Jahnvee’s entry has certainly become a major turning point in the story, and with the equation between Jagadhatri, Shivaay and Jahnvee getting more complicated, viewers can expect several twists and turns ahead.
