COLORS’ blockbuster franchise Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment returns with its third season — bigger, bolder, and bursting with flavour! After two smash-hit editions that turned cooking into a comedy battleground, the fan-favourite show is back to serve up “dinnertainment” like never before.
Matching this soaring energy, celebrated art director Omung Kumar B has crafted a set that doesn’t just host the fun; it amplifies it. This is a playful culinary landscape, imagined with Omung’s signature flair for storytelling through space.
Talking about the concept, Omung Kumar B shares, “For us Indians, no kitchen is ever just a kitchen. It’s a living, breathing extension of the people who step into it – their personalities, their energy, their chaos, their comfort. And because this season of Laughter Chefs is bigger, louder, and more playful than ever before, the set needed to reflect that spirit in every corner. It’s a whimsical world of flavours with everything from giant bell peppers and enormous spices to oversized spoons and a grand chandelier made entirely of spoons. There is joy in the colour palette, mischievousness in the scale, and warmth in the textures. The idea was to create a space that feels happy, lively, and full of flavour – a place where stars can truly cook up the fun.”
The design bursts with gigantic food sculptures — a towering pineapple, a flaming-red chilli arched like a dare, plump bell peppers, and oversized garlic bulbs adding a touch of whimsy. The space combines exotic rustic architecture with vibrant pops of colour, enriched by brick textures, greenery, and warm lighting that lend a lived-in warmth. At its heart hangs a striking spoon chandelier, a signature Omung detail that balances spectacle with intimacy. Each cooking station carries its own personality, designed to let contestants cook, improvise, and celebrate in their own flavourful rhythm.
This season brings together 16 popular stars ready to chop, chat, and stir up chaos in the kitchen. Leading the pack are the ever-energetic host Bharti Singh and Celebrity Chef Coach Harpal Singh Sokhi. Joining the kitchen arena this edition are Karan Kundrra, Tejasswi Prakash, Debina Bonnerjee, Gurmeet Choudhary, Eisha Singh, Vivian Dsena, Abhishek Kumar, Samarth Jurel, Elvish Yadav, Isha Malviya, Kashmera Shah, Krushna Abhishek, Aly Goni, and Jannat Zubair.
