Numbers are not just mathematical symbols; they can be tools for understanding human behavior: Ayush Gupta

Ayush Gupta, who is a spiritual healer, numerologist, tarot card reader, reiki healer, and founder at Anannt Oorja Safar (Co-Founder, Yogini Aarvika Gupta), was never a math enthusiast, but what attracted him to numerology was how it helped him explore different personalities, life patterns, and human behavior.

He said, “I started learning numerology when I was 15 years old. What initially attracted me to it was the challenge it presented. Interestingly, I was never particularly fond of mathematics, so exploring a subject that revolved around numbers felt like stepping outside my comfort zone.”

“As I began studying numerology, I discovered that numbers are not just mathematical symbols; they can also be interpreted as tools for understanding personality, life patterns, and human behavior. This curiosity gradually developed into a profound interest, and numerology became one of the modalities I chose to study and practice,” he added.

Asked how numerology actually helps people in practical terms, he said, “According to numerology, numbers are symbolic representations of different energies and life patterns.”

“Practitioners believe that numerology can help individuals gain deeper self-awareness and better understand various aspects of their lives, including personality traits and behavioral tendencies; natural strengths and weaknesses; life purpose and innate talents; relationship compatibility and dynamics; career inclinations and professional growth; and important life cycles, opportunities, and challenges,” he added.

Ayush emphasized that the real value lies in how people choose to apply this awareness. He said, “Many people use numerology as a tool for self-reflection and personal development. It encourages individuals to become more conscious of their choices and align their actions with their strengths and goals.”

He pointed out that numbers are deeply woven into every aspect of human life. He added, “We use them constantly through date of birth, age, time, financial transactions, addresses, phone numbers, measurements, calendars, and schedules.”

He further said, “Numerology suggests that beyond their practical use, numbers also carry symbolic meanings and energetic qualities that may influence human experiences. Each number is traditionally associated with certain characteristics: 1 is leadership, independence, and individuality; 2 is cooperation, diplomacy, and relationships; 3 is creativity, communication, and expression; 4 is stability, discipline, and structure; 5 is freedom, adaptability, and change; 6 is responsibility, harmony, and nurturing; 7 is wisdom, introspection, and spirituality; 8 is power, achievement, and material success; and 9 is compassion, humanitarianism, and service.”

He summed up his view on the role numbers play, regardless of how one chooses to interpret them. He said, “Whether one views numerology as a spiritual science or a symbolic system, numbers undeniably play a fundamental role in organizing and understanding everyday life.”

Asked how someone can determine their lucky number, he clarified that the process is far more methodical than simply picking a favorite digit. He said, “In numerology, a person’s favorable or ‘lucky’ numbers are usually determined through a detailed analysis of their birth number, life path number, destiny or expression number, and name number.”

“A professional numerologist studies the relationship between these numbers before suggesting favorable numbers, dates, colors, or periods. Therefore, a lucky number is not chosen randomly; it is calculated based on an individual’s personal numerological chart,” Ayush ended.
