Aamrapali Dubey’s No-Nonsense Response To Arishfa Khan Wins Attention In Bigg Boss 20

Bigg Boss 20 has barely completed a few days, but the drama inside the house has already begun to intensify. The September 8 episode saw a heated confrontation between Bhojpuri star Aamrapali Dubey and Arishfa Khan, with Mahhi Vij also getting involved as the argument escalated.

The disagreement stemmed from Aamrapali referring to Arishfa as a “kid” or “bacchi”, something the young contestant clearly took exception to. Arishfa confronted Aamrapali over the remark and maintained that she should not be treated like a child. The conversation quickly turned into a war of words, with Arishfa claiming that she had a sharper brain than Aamrapali.

Rather than backing down, Aamrapali responded in her characteristic blunt and witty manner. At one point, she sarcastically told Arishfa, “Reel cut rahi hai,” bringing her social-media persona into the conversation. The remark further fuelled the exchange, but Aamrapali continued to hold her ground.

The situation became more heated when Arishfa called Aamrapali a “hypocrite”. Aamrapali was quick with her response, essentially turning the same argument back on Arishfa by questioning why she was objecting to being called a “kid” if she was comfortable calling someone else a hypocrite. Reports on the episode also note that Arishfa accused Aamrapali of abusing her, following which Aamrapali responded sharply rather than allowing the accusation to go unanswered.

What stood out about Aamrapali during the confrontation was that she did not appear willing to unnecessarily stretch the argument, but neither did she shy away when she felt she was being challenged. Her responses were a mix of sarcasm, confidence and the straightforward personality that viewers have been getting to see since her entry into the Bigg Boss house.

Mahhi Vij eventually stepped into the argument, adding another layer to the already tense situation. Reports on the episode describe Arishfa calling Aamrapali and Mahhi “hypocrites”, with the discussion eventually moving towards questions of behaviour and “sanskaar”.

Interestingly, this confrontation comes just as Aamrapali has started revealing a side of herself that audiences have not often seen. Known primarily for her work in Bhojpuri cinema, the actress had earlier said that Bigg Boss would give viewers an opportunity to see the person behind the characters she has played on screen. Her approach inside the house has so far reflected that intention — she has been seen being playful and relaxed, but the latest episode made it clear that being easy-going does not mean she will remain silent when challenged.

The Aamrapali-Arishfa confrontation may have started over a seemingly small remark, but it has already become one of the early talking points of Bigg Boss 20. For Aamrapali, however, the moment was less about picking a fight and more about refusing to be spoken down to. Her sharp comebacks and willingness to stand her ground showed viewers another shade of the actress — one that is confident, outspoken and certainly not afraid of confrontation when the situation demands it.

Bigg Boss 20 streams every day at 9 PM on JioHotstar and airs at 10:30 PM on Colors TV.
