The latest episode of Rajan Shahi and Deepa Shahi’s Anupamaa begins on a cheerful note as Anupama looks at a picture of Ansh, Ishani, Mahi, Rahi and Pari and is filled with happiness. She excitedly shares the picture with Leela, but despite the joyful moment, Anupama feels uneasy and cannot shake off a strange concern for Ansh.
Meanwhile, Ansh, Prem and Banku enjoy themselves at the bachelor party with a lively dance performance. During the celebrations, Ansh accidentally bumps into a distressed couple arguing outside the venue. Seeing the girl in tears, Ansh intervenes and warns the young man to stop troubling her. Frightened by the situation, the girl suddenly hugs Ansh for comfort. Moments later, Prem arrives and finds them together. Ansh quickly explains that he was only trying to calm the frightened girl after witnessing the argument. Prem accepts his explanation and asks him to return to the party, where everyone is waiting.
Elsewhere, Gautam receives a video of Ansh with the girl and immediately realises he has found the perfect opportunity to ruin the wedding celebrations. Delighted with his plan, he prepares to use the footage against Ansh.
Back at the Shah house, Digvijay helps Anupama protect the ceremonial lamp, and she thanks him for standing by her. The family then begins preparations for Ansh’s mehendi ceremony. Ishani shows Anupama decorative beads she has brought, explaining that they are now popularly used to embellish mehendi designs as well. Amused by the changing trends, Anupama reflects on how traditions continue to evolve with time.
Kinjal becomes emotional while talking about welcoming a new daughter-in-law into the family after so many years. She says she hopes to carry forward the family’s values just as Anupama has done. Leela jokingly interrupts and says Kinjal should become a mother-in-law like her instead. She also remarks that after the wedding everyone will be occupied except her, Kinjal and Mahi. The comment deeply hurts Mahi, who quietly walks away.
Noticing Mahi’s reaction, Anupama tells Kinjal that Leela often speaks without considering others’ feelings. Kinjal says that being alone is better than being stuck in an unhappy marriage like Gautam’s. Anupama agrees that no woman deserves a partner like Gautam but worries about Mahi’s loneliness. Kinjal reminds Anupama that they too have experienced loneliness despite being married. Hoping for a brighter future, Anupama wishes that Mahi finds a caring and deserving life partner.
As the mehendi ceremony begins, Prerna requests Anupama to apply henna to her hands first. Blessing both Ansh and Prerna, Anupama showers the couple with her love. Pakhi reminds her to protect the bride and groom from the evil eye. Vasundhara then asks Anupama to apply mehendi to Leela next, saying the eldest woman in the family should be honoured. Leela humorously insists that she is younger than Vasundhara, leaving everyone amused.
During the ceremony, Anupama shares her “7-7-7 rule” for a happy marriage. She advises the newlyweds to spend one evening together every week, dedicate one full day to each other every month and take a vacation together every seven months to keep their relationship strong. Leela playfully teases everyone by asking them to take notes during Anupama’s lecture.
Elsewhere, Shruti once again brings up Anupama’s recipe diary while speaking to Prem. However, Prem refuses to discuss it. Shruti questions whether the desire to win can make a person compromise on their values and principles.
Soon, the neighbourhood women arrive for the celebrations but begin making sarcastic remarks about the Shah family’s frequent weddings. Leela firmly asks them to leave if they have come only to gossip. Pakhi grows anxious that they may discover Ishani and Banku’s relationship, but Paritosh assures her that they will keep the guests distracted.
As the celebrations continue, Digvijay encourages Anupama to get mehendi applied as well, but she insists she will be the last one to do so. The festive atmosphere is suddenly disrupted when Gautam unexpectedly arrives at the Shah house. Both Anupama and Ansh ask him to leave immediately. Pretending to have changed, Gautam claims he has realised his mistakes, but Anupama refuses to believe him and calls out his act. Just when he is about to leave, Vasundhara intervenes and asks him to stay for the ceremony. While everyone else remains uncertain, Anupama and Digvijay are convinced that Gautam has arrived with a hidden motive.
